Since 1985, La Florentina has been a cherished part of Kingston’s culinary scene — a place where tradition, flavor, and family come together.
The story began with La Parmegiana, the original restaurant at our 606 Ulster Avenue location. It later became La Florentina, where the second owner introduced the wood-fired pizzas and rustic Italian dishes our guests came to love.
Legacy Continued, Passion Renewed
In 2021, the torch was passed once more — this time to Lilian and her partner, who brought a renewed passion for Italian cuisine and a heartfelt dedication to preserving the restaurant’s legacy. Today, La Florentina continues to be a place where locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy the bold, comforting flavors of Italy in a warm, welcoming setting.

Whether you’re here for a casual weeknight meal or a special celebration, we’re honored to share our table with you. We’re open Tuesday through Thursday from 3 PM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 10 PM. We’re closed on Monday to rest and prepare for the week ahead.
